ZERO GRAVITY – floating in zero gravity

The sphere is a perfect shape. In free fall waterdrops almost resemble spheres.
Let’s capture one instant of this fall, let’s make visible the sphere, that for all time stays weightlessly afloat. The broken mirror in this installation resembles the surface of the water, rippled by the drop that has just fallen.

Measuring time means breaking it down into units. The smallest unit is the instant. But in the instant time is halted, it stands still and is stretched to its limits. Timelessness prevails. When passing time is halted, we get a snapshot, an image where time, and space, lose their meaning
- floating in zero gravity.
