Description

Based on Mary Chase’s stage comedy “My Friend Harvey”, adapted for the screen in 1950 with James Stewart as Elwood P. Dowd and his invisible rabbit HARVEY, who stands about two metres tall.

No one but Elwood can see the rabbit, and so his sister Veta wants to have him checked into a sanatorium. However, due to a series of confusing events, she is the one who ends up being admitted, and Elwood is then supposed to be given ‘Serum 977’ so that he can become ‘normal’ again like other people; the invisible rabbit would therefore disappear from his life.
Fortunately, he is not given Serum 977, and Veta eventually accepts the rabbit Harvey. Happy ending?!
