Description
Beech plywood that was diligently measured and cut by a carpenter is bolted and glued together according to plans by Petra Stelzmüller. The hotel, which is currently “unpainted”, will be given three coats of primer and thoroughly dried for days while being vented. The 18 work steps – sawing, cutting, screwing, glueing, painting, filling … – need a lot of love for detail in order to provide insects with a unique home while still sticking with the design interpreting Marlow Moss’ horizontal and vertical lines. 30 parts find their precise place in the Insect Hotel.

Safety instructions
There are no particular risks if used properly. Beech plywood and filling material are flammable. Sheet metal cover and wire mesh can be sharp-edged on the outside. The insect house should be secured at the back against strong gusts of wind.
