Leather has a very individual character, warmly and sensuously oozing the patented leather’s charm, and its structure and feel is very different from that of other fabrics. Leather is distinguished by ist uniqueness, it is supple, classy and at the same time easy to clean. Yet the processing is rather laborious, when at the same time leather is said to be very hard-wearing– quite so when it comes to cuddling and fondling, be it children or adults enjoying themselves with their favourite toy.
But before all this can happen several steps are necessary: inspecting the leather of its leather quality, applying and fixing the templates, cutting all parts, basting and carefully sewing it all together with a sewing machine. Not only is it important to ensure that the nearly 20 different parts are being put together correctly but also the composition of the colours (rather bright the belly and the seam but the body dark) needs to be slick yet cheerful. At last the Moupin is stuffed with Eco-Tex Standard 100 cotton and „the scut“, which is the rabbit’s tail, is sewed up.
And as everyone has got a favourite colour different colours and types of leather have been carefully chosen and in the course of twelve working steps have been processed into lovable cuddly toys. The story of the Moupin Pika. MOVIE “Who Framed Roger Rabbit”
